Reading books is a good hobby that let you live your own life and make you sharper in taking the decisions quicker and smarter. There are many things like bobbies which exist in this world, but those who make book reading as their hobby, they will live a good life which is a true stamp for others to follow in their footsteps.
Here I am up to with a new fiction book review, The Diary on the Fifth Floor by Raisha Lalwani
and I am thankful to the Vinfluencers for sponsoring me the book to review. And this review is a complete thoughtful review forms my thoughts and it is not the final insight of the book. We all have a different perspective to view, and this reflects purely mine.
The Diary on the Fifth Floor is a book which relates to Psychology. It has all characters well furnished and well fitted into the content in such a way so that the reader might not get bored anymore by turning the pages.
And if you are a good reader and love to read the diaries of your siblings secretly, this book will entertain you and make you think and react the same. Because it is a composition of entries in a diary of a girl.
All the characters in the book are perfectly composed in such a way that they could relate to the real lives. There is a huge twist in the beginning. But, the major characters are just two. One is Dr. Rama Berry, MBBS, MD (Psychiatry) and the other is Savannah Khanna.
The conversations between these are the base for the entire book. And the location is on the fifth floor of the Holy Grace Hospital where Savannah made it meet Dr. Berry after several attempts by emailing her personally.
There are totally 31 chapters in this book and some are the entries in the diary of Savannah Khanna and other are the conversations between Dr. Berry and Savannah. All the chapters are good to read and it is like peeking into the life and daily observations by a person who takes everything on to her mind and tries to pull it off by writing. She needs the world and the society around her to change for good.
In Savannah’s view, this world is contaminated. The people who are in it wouldn’t care if there is a person dying next to them. The world has become so busy that they won’t even care about others and the neighborhood.
Most of the people who will write their daily observations in their dairies are like Savannah, she wants to ease the pain she got from society after watching their irresponsibility. She cannot let that go off from her mind and she wants to write it all.
Personally, I am a similar person, if we share this with others; they will say a single word to us, stop complaining and start living. Let all these things go away. But, our heart will never let these minute things just disappear like that. We just cannot let it go.
The Diary on the Fifth Floor – Pure Poetic Touch
This book also contains the poetic readable; there were few rhymes which are written by Savannah in her diary. And the author has composed in such a brilliant way that these rhymes make everyone to read aloud and then sing.
“How much is that doggie in the window?
The one with the waggly tail,
How much is that doggie in the window?
I do hope that doggie’s for sale.
I don’t want a bunny or a kitty,
I don’t want a parrot that talks,
I don’t want a bowl of little fishies,
You can’t take a goldfish for a walk!”
After reading the above lines you will definitely agree with me with my statement that the book has good poetic touch in it.
There were several such rhymes you will see all along the book and with this we can appreciate the groundwork of Raisha.
Life has to move on
There have been bad and good moments in our lives, we need to move on so that there is a reason why we are here. In this book, Raisha crystal clearly makes a statement that we don’t know what is going to happen tomorrow. So, the moment which we got right now is the golden opportunity.
When we concentrate much on the surroundings and the consequences we face will become more terrible to handle. There are many things in our lives, which we cannot even change them. We need to move on and stop concentrating much on the things which we cannot intervene directly and alter the results.
Raisha wrote well, her way of writing is amazing and it will create a good connection with the readers. This book is highly suggestible to all categories of people. You will definitely love the book and this can change your perspective related to the world.
