Be the Change – Fight for a Cause – A post about Anti-China Protests

The concepts of Anti-China is on a widespread since the violence of the Galwan Valley, twenty brave Indian army soldiers were martyred during this incident.

This is sad news since the top country in terms of technology had taken a step in a different way to deal with our country regarding the border.

My deep condolences to the families who have lost their loved ones and I salute for their sacrifice in such a vicious attack all of a sudden.

Now, my concerns turn on to the youth of India, being Indian, I can feel the same blood gushing out of my nerves to avenge the loss. But, as an educated person, we all need to think a bit before we act. The social media circulated messages in all languages are echoing only one word, become anti-China, and abandon all the items which are from China.

And I have also read somewhere that, if we do not purchase the products from China, we can make China go down financially, I mean whoever the person promoted this message might have a violent economic idea.

During the last few days, the only texts I receive in social media groups are anti-China. Every message with a meme says ban China apps and stop using their products. Seriously? We are using China products since kids. From the musical toy mobile phone to the most advanced androids, most of the technology we are using is from China.

‘Made in China’ is what all we are habituated since childhood, even it is made in India, our eyes will fool us and force us to read it as made in China. Because that’s what we have seen for long and the same is locked in our subconscious mind.

THE BIG ISSUE

We are actually trolling the wrong topic, the official issues will be solved and addressed officially by both the governments, of course, we people are the government, and that doesn’t mean you and me can take an action against anyone. There are many issues that we can bring into the light and fight for our own good.

People like you and me are still fighting for justice in our own motherland and this extraterrestrial issue is not the right thing to focus on. If we love our country, then we must not speak a word, but we have to show it in our actions and play a major role in escalating the growth of the country in every sector.

Anti—China is a very farther issue right now, I am not supporting China for what they had done with us, but I am trying to awake my people to fight for the right issue rather than focusing on something which is not in our hands.

For social media, clicking the images while going anti-China is not a necessary thing, clicking an image of a damaged road and bringing it into the notice of the local municipality is necessary.

We all lots of issues to resolve internally, and this is not the right time to waste the time on such social media activities, it is the time to help ourselves and hatred can never be the tool against anyone.

BRING A CHANGE – TOGETHER

In most of the messages, I saw and read about the togetherness, and these messages are originated from the youth, mostly people aged between 18-26 wrote these texts, they are even fighting and arguing in the messaging services about anti-China. Throw away the mobiles and uninstall the apps. I would like to raise a point here, okay, we agreed to that point and as an act against the violence I have uninstalled the most used and reliable app from my phone, and can you provide me the same application which is pure-India?  I am very much interested to utilize the local brands, but all these years when I speak about new entrepreneurs, new brands, our own people rejected our designers.

Let us take an example, an Indian guy has developed an app for short messaging service, for any application, in the initial state, it will have many crashes during the launching, and for the person who has developed that application, h/she has to undergo a path of hell due to the trolling comments and bad words. Instead of providing feedback and stand by the side of the app developer, we people make that person’s life into a living hell by discouraging with the negative feedback and tormenting him with the lack of support.

No need to share any evidence here, we all know what we are doing exactly, and I am not pointing all of us, just a few among us are like this. In the same way, if the other countries have mocked the app developer at the beginning instead of supporting him/her, we may not be able to at least click a selfie on our phones.

KNOW THE POINT

As I said, there are many issues that we can fight on, and those issues are internal. We need to eradicate the dangerous evils which are prevailing in the society. It is not the time to cover our eyes and feel like everything is alright just China is needed to be punished. It is time to unleash the truth inside us and discuss our suffering.

If our country is a good place and provides a fair platform to the talent in providing employment why does working abroad Indians don’t return to India and work here? Why are our most precious talents are assisting the other countries in many inventions? If our country is stable enough to patent an invention in any field, then why are many scientists are showing interest going abroad?

We are suffering from major challenges and the youth of India who is educated are crippled with unemployment. Fighting with poverty and fighting with the most dangerous evil – corruption.

Many are eating just once in a day and feeding their families thrice, they are losing their lives at an early age, not able to feed properly, and not able to work properly due to the torture at the workplace. Many graduates are joining as daily laborers and suffering all the way to earn money. Isn’t these issues are worth discussing?

All of a sudden the anti-China protest has started since it is the trending topic, each and every person are reaching out to their mobiles and posting some kind of non-sense memes and entertaining themselves with a laugh. Why are the most mattered and most needed issues are overlooked every time?

We choose our government to rule us and support us in times of any pandemic, the government has released new ordinances, which says there is no need to pay rent during the lockdown period. But, in real life, the house owner will never stop asking you for money. We are paying taxes for everything we purchase, but still, we are compromising in the quality, why? Isn’t this the issue to talk about?

Can you make a person who is working in any foreign country to flew from there and work the same in our country for the sake of development? The answer from that person would be different, we are not paid based on our work, but we are paid based on the pay which is decided by a particular firm/body. There is no concept of equal work and equal pay.

DO THE RIHGT THING

Togetherness is needed much, it is the only way to survive as a social animal, but we are together for the issues which are bothering us less. Why don’t we protect the people from being fallen below the poverty line, wastage of food and natural resources, wastage of the money, can’t we together prevent this?

Our education system, it needs more and more practical approach than theoretical. Many will blame the teachers, but what teachers will do when they are not allowed to teach to the core. It is not the time to blame on other countries and not the right time to stick to the non-sense. Be active, be an Indian, and design the country as a sculptor all by ourselves. No political leader can do that, we all know how our politics run. There is a freedom of vote, but it is not availed, it is sold to some amount of money and Biryani packets.

Where is the change required? In our hearts or our phones?

CONCLUSION

I am not a foreigner, I am an Indian and I have the experience with all sectors during my study and work. I have seen people who can give their lives for others and I have also seen the cunning and backstabbers. I have seen the dignity and I have seen the riots. What I learned from being Indian is to love one another and respect women.

We don’t have any laws on how to live, we are not slaves, we have the freedom of choice on how to live and to make our life to be. I request my dear young ones to stand up for the right cause. Dealing with the countries is the farthest thing, look around you, there are many needy people who are seeking your help, there is a corruption zone around you, try to eradicate it, focus on it with the same inspiration and you will be remembered forever for your deed.

I am not asking anyone to do this or that, I am just trying to draw a line which will lead us all to the success.

One cannot control the mind of the other, but teaching them the right from the beginning will enlighten their inner talent and enhance their skills. Don’t provoke violence, teach how to love, but not to revenge.

By burning a bus will only destroy the bus, but the issue remains still unresolved until it is encountered with the right decision.

Stop being bad in social media and respect women, some apps may have designed by other countries, and our people are the most used users in it. The filthiest comments and trolling are made by us. This is not the right way to enlighten a country. Never think that some person at the other end is ready to help you and hold your hand, in your worst times, only the true friends will be with you. Treat me as the one and I will be there for you to solve the issue, together.

Help those who are depressed, stop making fun of them, we never know the situation turns and time plays with the lives. Focus on the right thing and you will be a better person.
